If you’d prefer your custom workwear printed, we have a number of options available.
Transfer Printing
Transfer printing is our most popular method and ideal for smaller orders. Your logo is applied to a paper or plastic backing along with a layer of heat activated glue, then applied to your chosen apparel in whatever size and position you’d like.
Screen Printing
Screen printing looks fantastic, but requires a smooth, flat surface free of seams. It’s great for big, bold logos on custom t-shirts, polo shirts, sweatshirts, and other promotional clothing. We’d recommend screen printing for larger volume orders of 50 or more items.
Printing Benefits
Printing is a fast, cost-effective method of creating custom branded workwear that looks great and is designed to last. While there is a small set-up fee for transfers and screen printing, this only applies to your first order. Once we have the templates for your logo, we can keep them on file and easily apply them to clothing whenever you need it.

100 Years in the Making
It was the roaring 20s, and the textile industry was booming – especially in North West England. A budding entrepreneur, Harry Trevor Hughes (or “grandad” as we knew him) returning from his adventures in South America with a bag of uncut diamonds, used that money to set up a small clothing factory in Salford with his business partner Mr W. P. Jackson.
While things have certainly grown from there, we continue to offer the same core services, but now using state of the art printing and embroidery techniques to produce custom branded clothing for businesses big and small.

What our Customers Say

“HT Hughes have been supplied our overalls and other workwear for decades. They provide a consultative and responsive approach and helped us most recently to create a bespoke overall to satisfy the needs of our end users.”
Paul Barker, Zurich Engineering

“HT Hughes are our go-to supplier for production workwear and branded office clothing, polo shirts, shirts, jackets etc. Tim and his team have been brilliant over the years and with such a large range of products, his advice has always proven to be spot on. Our logo looks great and the kit is really good quality. I wouldn’t hesitate recommending HT Hughes. They offer quality products and great service for a really good price.”
